Le Mascaret Apartment - Traveling to Le Touquet

 

Channel crossing from Dover to Boulogne via Speedferries takes a just 50 minutes, a short  30 minute drive will see you arriving in Le Touquet. Alternatively if you want to enjoy the shopping and travel experience rather than just get there, then travel to France via the Sea France or P&O services from Dover to Calais.
Norfolkline also run a regular cross channel service between Dover and Dunkerque.

Eurotunnel - regular train services between Folkstone and Coquelles (Calais). Eurotunnel  pricing structure is based upon a 'no frills airline'  The earlier you book, the cheaper it is. Their fares are now more competitive and in line with other operators on cross channel routes

 

By Air

Flights to Le Touquet are available from Lydd Air who fly from Lydd airport near Ashford in Kent or Skysouth. via Brighton City airport (Shoreham).

From Calais By Road

From Calais, drive on  the A16 autoroute. Follow the signs for Boulogne and le Touquet. Turn off at junction 26 (le Touquet and Etaples, toll = 2.60 Euros). Turn right to Etaples (3 km). At Etaples, turn left at the roundabout and cross the bridge over the River Canche. Follow the signs for Le Touquet. Journey time is just under 55 minutes.

Le Mascaret is situated in Rue de Londres; a 2 minute walk to the beach, the main shopping centre in Rue St Jean and only 1 minute to the gourmet shops and restaurants in Rue de Metz (including the market place).  

 

For touring in northern France the  Michelin road map Pas-de-Calais - Somme (Sheet 301). is excellent. Also recommend is the IGN Blue map Le Touquet - Berck 2105ET - as this gives you detail on some of the smaller roads. The AA pocket guide to Channel Hopping is worth a look, especially if your time is limited. It contains a useful overview of the highlights of the area.
